Olesen Data works on some significant
improvements of the Axapta Master planning module.
The functionality will be collected in a new module
which is expected to be ready in June 2005.
The module will include:
Expanded Master scheduling
functionality regarding planning across warehouses
inside the same company. Manual warehouses, planning
warehouses and warehouse dependent BOM's and routes.
Rescheduling of planned purchase,
transfer and production orders during future
messaging across BOM levels without unnecessary
inventory build up due to planned production order
delay on the top level.
Prioritized master scheduling
across BOM levels. The functionality results in a
much better planning of raw material and inventory
as requirements on all levels are reserved and
settled based on the delivery date on the top sales
order level.
